Well, I'm Holly. I love music. Its
pretty much the only thing that comes natural to me that I excell in. I love ALL types of music-its just amazing! I
play the (electric) violin, piano, guitar, and bass. I also sing and write songs.
I'm also a dancer. I've been
dancing for fourteen years and it never gets old. I take classes and compete in ballet, pointe, jazz, lyrical, tap, modern
ballet & jazz. I dance in solos, duets, pas de deaux, and groups. Dancing is really a discipline and it
takes years to develope as a dancer.
I've taken acting classes and have
been to a few workshops.
Acting is really new to me so I
don't know too much about it. Acting puts you in someone elses life and can make you experience the charaters life clearly
instead of just watching a play. It can be really fun to play a part that is so opposite of yourself and bizzare.
Watching someone act out a character that is so unlike them is an amazing transformation.
I'm also a writer. I hate
writing essays for school because it takes away all the fun and creativity and replaces it with bordom and unifority.
I love to write storys- fiction and non-fiction. I'll write about myself, friends, people that I know about or haven't
really met, or someone I just saw. Some people just have a way of standing out. Its hard not to try and figure them
out or not want to know what they are about.
Whenever I'm not doing the above, I love to hang out with friends and have
a good time. I know a lot of people that live in River Oaks and Memorial so I spend time hanging out
with them. I have a gift, so I'm told, of being able to make anything boring into something fun and exciting. I
also like to sleep, read, and watch TV. Reading is really fun now that I'm older, my parents used
to beg me to read when I was little and I would always hate it. I love magazines-especially international!
I'll read anything that catches my eye in the store or if I saw a great review for it in a magazine. I don't
really have any favorite writers, but I do like everything Shakespear. His works are amazing!
